Fernando López Reyes, founder of Welun Translations and English-Spanish professional translator with a minor on International Trade and Bachelor Degree in Languages and Literature from Universidad Tecnológica de Chile, INACAP.

 

He has vast experience on technical, humanist and general translation. He is licensed on International Accounting Standards on the Public Sector (NICSP), course imparted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. He has received training on assisted translation on OmegaT at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and training on assisted translation on SLD Trados Studio 2019 at Universidad Católica de Chile.

 

He has participated as member of the Board of Directors of the College of Translators and Interprets of Chile (COTICH) in the position of treasurer from 2018 to 2024. Additionally, he is a certified member of the afore mentioned institution.
